Rueda Casino and Cuban Salsa Classes
Bembe' Austin is a school focused around Cuban Dancing and we are very excited to share our love for the dances and the music!
This is our Cuban Salsa Series and it is for everyone wanting to learn to dance, meet some fun people and try something new. New dancers learn the fundamentals that they need to dance and be able to go out to events. More experienced dancers will be challenged with new skills and movements. It's a great environment for everyone!
Cuban Salsa (Casino) is a partner dance that can be danced to any style of Salsa, Cuban Timba, and Cubaton styles of music. It is a circular dance style that allows more variations, musicality and fun than other styles of dance. Rueda de Casino is a Circle of Casino style dancing where we dance in a large group with each other as one or more dancers call out moves for everyone to do together. Casino is danced with a partner. Rueda de Casino is danced in groups of partners.
Every class will have partnerwork, footwork and movements. There will be lots of dancing!
No Partners Needed! Seriously! 🙂
4 classes are $60. You will pay for the 4 week series on the 1st day.
During the series, our students will have the opportunity to Meet up with us at Social events each Week, where we can Practice what they have Learned in our classes. We often go out Fridays and Saturdays and will visit other cities that have great events!
