- Meet Natasha D. Byrne! Zumba Instructor
Natasha is a Zumba instructor whose passion for Latin-style dancing and music radiates from her. She is full of energy, and passion, and is always smiling! Salsa is one of her favorite Latin rhythms. She discovered Zumba 3 years ago and fell in love with it. One of her favorite things about working at Corazon Latino is meeting some of the most amazing instructors in the Austin area. When Natasha isn’t shaking it with her students, she’s chasing around her 2.5 & 5-year-old children.
She enjoys family activities and taking small trips with her husband and kids. She enjoys reading in her free time and cooking Indian-style dishes for her family.
Meet Jori Bloom! Hip Hop Instructor
Jori was born and raised in Kansas. She grew up dancing and baton twirling competitively. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Kansas State University, she moved to Texas to pursue a career in Event Management. Needing an outlet to channel her creativity and find inspiration, she turned to dance classes.
"Nothing fills me with more pride than seeing a student go beyond what they thought they were capable of. Dance is such a powerful form of expression, and teaching lets me guide others in discovering their unique creative voice. Watching my students grow in confidence and realize how truly magical they are is the most rewarding part of my journey."
"Coming from a large family, I knew I wanted to find a dance community that felt like home here in Austin, and I found that at Corazon Latino Dance Studio. Our community is built on kindness, support, and shared inspiration—we cheer each other on and celebrate each other’s victories. This place is special, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it."
When not teaching or learning new choreography, Jori loves spending time with her family, playing sand volleyball, unwinding with a good book, enjoying a glass of wine with friends while gossiping about the latest reality TV show, or traveling to explore new places!
