Corazon Latino offers a wide variety of fitness classes for both kids and adults, below you will find a brief description of some of our classes currently in place. It really doesn't matter if you are an exercise expert or barely a beginner, classes are designed for all fitness levels!
Barre takes postures inspired by ballet and combines them with core work and total body sculpting. Classes begin at the barre toning thighs, glutes, and calves and conclude on the mat with emphasis on the core.
Belly Dance emphasizes movements of the abdomen and pelvis, and is an ideal way to develop deep abdominal core strength. This ancient Middle Eastern dance became the traditional method for imparting body awareness, techniques of posture and movement.
Bootcamp incorporates bands, medicine balls, dumbbells, and your own body weight with high intensity cardio intervals. Every workout is unique keeping your muscles guessing!
Booty Werk is all about fun and body movement. The class is high energy with lots of fun, easy dance moves to make you feel like you werked it. Werk your booty to music ranging from old school to current dance hits.
Step Cross Training
Centered around cardio, core, and resistance training, Step Cross Training is a blend of aerobics, kickboxing, Zumba®, and step with each class targeting a different muscle group.
This Zin inspired class combines deep stretch and meditation practices to restore energy, strenghten the body, and improve overall balanced health.
Zumba® takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party with Latin and World rhythms.
Zumba® Toning puts extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles! The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!
Zumba® Step combines the awesome toning and strengthening power of Step aerobics, with the fun fitness-party that only Zumba® brings to the dance-floor.
A basic class that introduces kids to the elementary positions of classical ballet. Classes are slow paced and thorough to ensure proper alignment and understanding.
Hip Hop Kids
This is a "come with whatever dance you have in you" class. Kids learn a new and fun routine in every class while connecting steps, gaining balance, and improving precision.
Ritmos Cubanos y Latinos
Classes are designed to teach kids how to interpret latin rythms while learning Salsa, Cha-cha-cha, Mambo, and Conga.
Zumba® Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. We break down the steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure.
